September 8, 2005 : Chakhei online site was down for many days
due to problems with the old server. We have migrated the server to
another host and the webmaster managed to restore the old database.

Welcome to Chakhei online site. Finally Chakhei site with top level domain was launched on July 7, 2005.
Chakhei is a small town in Siaha District of Southern part of Mizoram.
It lies in Indo-Myanmar border. The town is embedded in the east side
of Mt.Mawma, the fifth highest mountain in Mizoram. It is only two
kilometers from the town to the top of the mountain. Thus the town
overlooks River Kaladan, the biggest river in Mizoram that separates
India and Myanmar. |
